The training course teaches you:

  • How growth is possible by means of business expansion.
  • How to improve profitability by establishing strategic partnerships and making strategic business decisions. 

You’ll learn what business development looks like both in theory and practice.

Training courses at the EGS are open to all returnees and people from the local population.

Training courses for micro-entrepreneurs

Do you want to become self-employed, or start your own small business? This 2-module training course teaches you what steps you need to take. 

The training course gives you the basic knowledge and skills that young entrepreneurs need.

Module 1: Your business concept
This module teaches you how to develop a business concept. It should later be easy to implement this concept.

Module 2: Starting a business
This module teaches you how to use your business concept to start a business.
You’ll learn more about: 

  • Financing options
  • Legal basics, laws and rules for companies in Egypt
     

You’ll also have the opportunity to get individual advice, or have a mentor to help you.  

Both modules use simulations and case studies that allow you to run through different scenarios. This will allow you to learn about starting a business in as practical a way as possible.

Training course on starting a business

The Egyptian-German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration can help you with setting up a business.

The programme has two parts:

  1. Developing business ideas – where you learn how to develop achievable business ideas.
  2. Starting a business – this part teaches you how to turn your idea into a business model and gives you important information about money and finances.
    • You will learn about laws and regulations that apply to people starting a business in Egypt.
    • You will also receive individual advice from a mentor.

Both parts of the training course will enable you to experience realistic situations that you may face as an entrepreneur. This allows the trainers to assess whether you’re ready to set up and run your own business.
