Training courses for micro-entrepreneurs

Do you want to become self-employed, or start your own small business? This 2-module training course teaches you what steps you need to take. 

The training course gives you the basic knowledge and skills that young entrepreneurs need.

Module 1: Your business concept
This module teaches you how to develop a business concept. It should later be easy to implement this concept.

Module 2: Starting a business
This module teaches you how to use your business concept to start a business.
You’ll learn more about: 

• Financing options
• Legal basics, laws and rules for companies in Egypt
   

You’ll also have the opportunity to get individual advice, or have a mentor to help you.  

Both modules use simulations and case studies that allow you to run through different scenarios. This will allow you to learn about starting a business in as practical a way as possible.

White-collar Employment Service

The EGC helps you to find a job as a clerical worker throughout Egypt.

Feel free to contact the EGC,

Follow-up counselling is available once you have found employment.

The EGC also organises job fairs, and can advise you on finding a job even if you live in governorates outside of Cairo.

The Egyptian-German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration helps young people break into the job market.
This training course teaches you how to go about your job search and present yourself well.

The training includes five parts:

1. CV – how to write a good CV
2. Correspondence – how to create professional e-mails and cover letters
3. Job search and application – how to use internet job platforms and apply correctly
4. Selection process – how to conduct a successful job interview
5. Workplace ethics – how to act professionally in the workplace

Financial knowledge

This training course provided by the Egyptian-German Center for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration teaches you how to better manage your income and your savings.
The training lets you know what responsible consumer behaviour involves.
The training also promotes equality between men and women by

• reinforcing the view that women can help make family decisions about spending and finances.
• The course therefore also empowers women to find their voice.
