The German Adult Education Association (DVV) in Morocco offers various courses.

You can take language courses. For example:

  • Darija
  • French
  • Arabic

Courses are also offered in civics and Moroccan culture.

You can get advice on how to improve your prospects in Morocco. Help is provided on setting up your own business, for example. The courses are for:

  • Returnees
  • People who have emigrated from the region south of the Sahara

You have to be aged between 15 and 35.
There are special programmes for young women. There are offices throughout Morocco.

Retraining programmes throughout Morocco

L’Agence Nationale de Promotion de l’Emploi et des Compétences (ANAPEC) is the national employment agency in Morocco.

If you want to change your job, ANAPEC can place you in a retraining programme. The courses last three months maximum. You have to have previous knowledge.

The retraining programmes are not run by ANAPEC but by partner institutions.

You do not have to pay for these retraining programmes. However, you do have to apply. You can apply for three retraining programmes.

Just enter your region on the website and you will see all the retraining programmes offered near you.

ANAPEC has offices in many towns and cities in Morocco. You can call, pay a visit in person or write an email.

Vocational training programmes in farming

The Ministère de l'Agriculture et de la Pêche Maritime, du Développement Rural et des Eaux et Forêts has a department for agriculture. This department offers various vocational training programmes in the farming sector.

The vocational training programme lasts about two years. You have to pay for the vocational training programme, but the costs are very low. You do not need a secondary school leaving certificate to take the vocational training programme.

There are vocational training programmes in the follow areas:

  • Craft trades
  • Handicrafts
  • Hotel trade
  • Tourism

A vocational training programme lasts about two years. You have to pay a little for the vocational training programme, but the costs are very low.
You have to be aged between 15 and 30.

You can obtain various qualifications. Each qualification has different requirements. For the lowest qualification, you do not have to have a secondary school leaving certificate.

Vocational training or further training

The Office de la Formation Professionnelle et de la Promotion du Travail (OFPPT) offers various vocational training and further training programmes.

You can even take a vocational training programme if you don’t hold a secondary school leaving certificate. There are vocational training programmes in technical jobs and in administration.

The vocational training programmes always start in September. You only have to pay a small fee.

If you already have a job and want to learn more, you can take a further training programme. You go to evening school to take a further training programme. There is a fee of about EUR 50 to pay for evening school programmes.

The OFPPT offers vocational training and further training programmes throughout Morocco.
