Most countries have advice centres for questions regarding jobs, migration and reintegration. These centres provide advice on how to find a job after returning to your country of origin or how to set up your own business, for example. People who live in their country of origins can also receive advice at the centres. The advice teams also provide information on medical and psychosocial assistance, care and education for children, or finding somewhere to live.

Contact details for advice centres in the countries of origin and in Germany can be found on this website. Startfinder also contains information on individual offers, such as training or work experience in the countries of origin and in Germany.

Startfinder is provided by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Startfinder is part of the BMZ "Returning to New Opportunities" programme.
