Help for women in need

The Society for Women and Girls in Distress (SoWoGidi) provides both psychosocial and vocational skills supports for survivors of sexual violence.

It also helps returning migrants.

Help for people who have been (sexually) exploited

Pathfinders Justice Initiative (PJI) helps survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

PJI offers various kinds of help:

  • advice
  • health care
  • vocational training
  • study grants
  • funding to start a business.

You can also live in Benin City temporarily if you need this help.

PJI has offices in Abuja and Benin City.

Help for victims of human trafficking

The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and other Related Matters (NAPTIP) helps victims of human trafficking.

NAPTIP offers many different types of help:

  • temporary accommodation
  • advice
  • medical care
  • education.

The help is available to everybody.
The help is free of charge.
