Radio is an excellent medium for reaching as many people in Senegal as possible. That’s why a radio programme is now reporting about the risks of irregular migration and the local job prospects. It’s providing tips for job seekers and on starting a business. The programme „Sama ellëg fi ma dëkk“ (Building my future in my country) lasts for an hour. It’s being broadcast on community radio stations across the country. The programme was produced in French and in the local languages Wolof, Fulani and Diola. People here can also listen to a podcast of the programme in the local languages.
