I run the centre and am responsible for implementation in Egypt. Our team has solid experience and will advise you in various areas of your career. I was born in Egypt and grew up in Germany. I am familiar with both countries and speak German and Arabic as well as English and French. I bring 16 years of professional experience in the academic field, another 16 years of experience working for international organisations and 14 years of experience in project management and leadership.

I am the Employment, Partnerships and Service Provision Advisor. I am here to provide advice on the Egyptian labour market opportunities and career orientation counselling, as well as support for business start-ups. My engagement includes building up the services in the centre and managing the relations with partners, organisations and service providers. My studies focused on economics and development. I also have an MBA degree and in addition to that, I worked for more than 10 years in various international and national organisations.

I am the capacity development and migration advisor at the Center. If you would like to migrate to Germany, I can advise you about the channels and requirements of regular migration. I spent more than seven years teaching and researching political science and public policy. In the context of development programmes, I have delivered multiple training sessions on interpersonal skills. I hold a Master’s degree in Global Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

In 2016, I moved from academia to the field of development and humanitarian aid. My experience is mainly in emergency response, with a focus on sexual and gender-based violence and migration in general. Currently, I am doing my MA (dual) degree in International Human Rights Law and Migration and Refugee Studies. If you wish to return to Egypt seeking social and economic reintegration, or have recently repatriated, I can accompany you on this journey and help you establish your life here.

I graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University and have worked as a facilitator and coordinator for several national organisations. I am responsible for the reception and the admission in the Center.
