German Information Centre on Migration, Vocational Training and Career (DIMAK)

The German Information Centre on Migration, Vocational Training and Careers in Tirana is open to everyone. You can receive information and advice on the following:   

  • Opportunities for work and training in Albania
  • Training in applying for a job
  • Job and career fairs in Albania
  • Support if you have returned to Albania
  • Information on agencies and state aid for Albanian citizens
  • Opportunities for work and training in Germany

You are welcome to visit the centre in Tirana. Our advisors are also available to answer your questions by phone or by email. You do not have to pay for this advice.

Directions

The best way to get to DIMAK is to take the L2 bus. This line stops in the city centre at the stations 'Zogu i Zi' and 'Sheshi Nënë Tereza'. Please get off at the 'Bulevardi Bajram Curri' bus stop.

Welcome to DIMAK Albania, the Advice Centre for Migration and Reintegration! We are here to support you in implementing your plans in Albania. Our team can advise you in Albanian, German or English. All our advisors have many years of experience in the field of migration and reintegration.
 
I myself studied engineering and economics in Northern Macedonia and Germany. Professionally, I have been particularly involved in promoting employment and economic development as part of international cooperation. I have worked in several countries of South-Eastern Europe and especially the Western Balkans. Besides German and English, I am fluent in the Slavic languages.

I coordinate the DIMAK Advice Centre with its team of dedicated advisors. I also maintain our network of public and private agencies. 

I am familiar with the backgrounds, cultures and languages of both Albania and the German-speaking countries. I studied German Language and Literature at the Universities of Krems (Austria) and St. Gallen (Switzerland). I then worked for 15 years as deputy office manager of the Austrian Development Cooperation's international office in Tirana. I would like to use my experience and that of my team to support your plans.
